Rosalia
Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is a Spanish flamenco and pop performer. As a teenager she sang both in traditional and popular music. However, her music interests have widened to encompass soul and hip-hop. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitarist and famous musician has described the voice of the young singer as sweet and sharp but with bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately receiving an Grammy. The song La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami was her 3rd studio album. The singer collaborated with a variety of performers and musicians like Cory Henry. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 after the show by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to perform solo on the show. Motomami Rosala as well as winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman to be awarded both.
